Have you ever thought about playing golf on the moon?

Sounds fun to me!

On February 6, 1971, Alan Shepard, an Apollo 14 astronaut, golfed on the moon. He said it was much harder there as he was in a puffy spacesuit, could only use one arm, and was forced to tee on the sand. And did I mention he had a makeshift club? He only managed get the ball about 40 yards. On earth the average amateur can hit over 100 yards.

Of course, my astronaut has no such limitations. Thanks to my poetic license.

My astronaut has a sleek spacesuit. Joints are free to move for golf and kicking ass.

Color Experiment

Hi, All! This is my inaugural post here. I saw Krystal Cole’s work on YouTube. She makes colorful animal portraits. I love color! Naturally I wanted to try that coloring technique with my own drawings. I didn’t look at a single tutorial before trying, however. I don’t even know what the technique is called or if it has a name. I didn’t get anywhere near the results of Krystal. What I did get is below. It’s gone through a lot of changes already. It was as colorful as a rabid rainbow before I toned it down a bit! I enjoyed the process. And I really like how some parts turned out—e.g., her left arm. I like how the different shades of blue appear to be different parts of her flesh and bone. Or some weird, blue infrared scan! What do you think? If you like you can capture her here as a  sticker  or as a  paper print !

Woodcarving

I am venturing into a new medium. I wanted something more tactile.
